About Chris
I have more than 20 years of competitive tournament experience and hold the official USCF First Category title with a peak rating of 2050 (Expert).
Over my tournament career, I have secured victories against master-level players rated up to 2300.
For over a decade, I have run a dedicated chess instruction business, successfully coaching dozens of children and adults from absolute beginners to competitive club players.
I also host a dedicated YouTube channel featuring chess instruction videos to help students learn between lessons.

Build a personalized study plan using curated books, custom training materials, and interactive chess tools.
Note for Online Students: I utilize customized digital chess boards and video software to ensure online lessons feel just as seamless and interactive as sitting across a physical table.
