About Lance

I started to learn to play when I was 9 then started to play competitively when I was 13 years old. Winner of Multiple National Chess Tournaments. Former World Open Blitz-U2000 Champion ,Current Southern Nevada Chess Champion (2024,2025),Current National Open U-2100 Champion Current North American MIXED DOUBLES Champion.

About the lesson

My teaching method focuses on helping students enjoy and love the game, as this makes learning more engaging and fun. I begin by playing with my students to assess their current level, allowing me to tailor lessons and techniques that elevate their play. I also identify their strengths and work with them to overcome weaknesses.

I especially enjoy teaching passionate, self-motivated players who are eager to improve, as I share the same drive myself.

I'm open to teaching anyone from beginners up to players rated Under 2000
