About Jamie
I am a native New Yorker now based in Los Angeles working as a professional songwriter. With a B.S. in Music Industry from USC's Thornton School of Music, I have a vast knowledge of both the creative and business sides of music. I have written 100+ songs over the past five years, and have co-written on 30 released artist projects.
I love being able to create music with others! I treat my tutoring more as a collaborative partnership, where we can grow together as writers and musicians.

With over six years of professional songwriting under my belt, I am well equipped to give beginners the proper tools to write their best songs yet.
I tailor my tutoring to each individual client, based on their prior experience and musical preferences. No prior writing experience is necessary!
I also like to take clients through popular songs from the past decade and unpack the reasons for their success, outlining tangible skills and strategies clients may take with them as they write.
