About Arif
Currently I am a University of Essex Computer Science student hoping to get into the field of Brain computing interfaces.
A grade in GCSE computer Science
B grade at A level,
In Alevels we had mandatory peer mentoring with GCSE students, this is where I picked up the skills of being able to help teach and handle difficult to understand concepts to students who were working towards obtaining better grades. Out of the 3 I mentored on a weekly basis, all of them passed and moved onto college.
Currently, I am a team leader in a team project for my university where we just produce a machine learning algorithm that predicts house prizes when given data, I hope to soon get into the field of brain computing interfaces.

My teaching methodology begins with ensuring the student is the main focus of the lesson rather than the task, and that they understand all of the information presented in the lesson. From experience, the task of studying can be daunting, but with the aid of a good teacher and patience I believe anyone can achieve incredible academic goals.
Everyone learns at a different pace and in varying ways. I accommodate to those specific needs with each student. For example, drawing a diagram myself for visual learners, explaining a video for students that learn from auditory or breaking down a piece of the textbook into its components to help obtain a better understanding for the student that learns from keywords.
