About Jackie

I’ve always been passionate about singing, not just as a performer but as someone who understands how powerful the voice really is. Over time, I realised many people struggle because they’ve never been shown how to use their voice properly, often leading to strain or discomfort.

After many years performing live on the circuit, I’ve developed a strong understanding of what it takes to sing with confidence, control, and consistency.

My performance background includes styles inspired by Whitney Houston and Diana Ross, and I am currently performing regularly. Alongside this, I have also performed my own original music live, which has deepened my understanding of vocal expression, storytelling, and connecting with an audience. I have also trained in London under the late vocal coach Helena Shenel, who worked with artists such as Shirley Bassey, which has shaped my approach to technique and vocal development. I focus on building strong foundations so singers can develop safely, confidently, and with real control.

As well as vocal technique, I focus on performance skills — helping you build stage confidence, connect with your audience, and deliver songs with real presence, not just sound.

About the lesson

I offer structured singing lessons focused on building confidence, vocal control, and real emotional delivery. With many years of live performance experience performing in theatres, weddings, social clubs, clubs, pubs and festivals, I’ve developed techniques that people often ask me about, which led me to start teaching and share what I’ve learned.

Your first session is a 90-minute session, including a 30-minute vocal assessment followed by a full 60-minute lesson. This allows me to properly understand your voice and start working on it straight away. Each student receives clear written feedback, along with simple guided exercises to support steady progress between lessons. Lessons are available online and from my home studio. Limited travel may be considered.

Rates and Lesson Details First session:
£50 (90 minutes) Includes a 30-minute vocal assessment followed by a full 60-minute lesson.

Ongoing lessons: £35 per hour

The initial assessment allows me to understand your voice properly, identify key areas to improve, and begin working on them straight away. Where helpful, I may record parts of the session so you can hear your progress and continue practising effectively between lessons.

You will also receive clear written feedback and simple guided exercises to support your development. Lessons are available online or from my home studio.
