About Demi
I’m a dedicated chess tutor with over 7 years of experience, having successfully taught more than 300 students from beginner to advanced levels. My teaching style is student-centered, combining strategy, creativity, and discipline to help learners master the game. I break down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps, using puzzles, game analysis, and interactive sessions to build strong foundations and tactical thinking. I encourage active thinking through interactive play, helping students understand not just moves—but the reasons behind them. Alongside chess, I also offer guidance in related games like checkers, backgammon, and Risk to strengthen critical and logical thinking. My goal is to create a supportive space where learners feel challenged, motivated, and inspired to improve steadily while enjoying the process.
