About Lucy
My name is Lucy Gonye. I am a Zimbabwean lady aged 29 with a Diploma in Education, TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate, and a few online teaching courses certificates I achieved to enhance my teaching career. To me, teaching is not just a profession; it's a passion. I enjoy teaching very much and I love learning new things from the experience in teaching my learners. I love the satisfaction of seeing my learners grasping concepts I would have delivered to them.

I teach foundational and advanced literacy through play and I use realia. With me, you learn English from the basics. You get to learn all the four English skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I teach from the phonics to word attack, which makes my students speak, read, and write English fast and easily.
