About Tooba
I am a Psychology student at Royal Holloway University with a love for English. I enjoyed it at GCSE, attaining an A grade, pushed myself to achieve further and achieved an A* grade at A-level. I have been an English Literature subject scholar during my a-levels, and have made resources for other students and offered drop in sessions for a year. One of my trips was to Reading University to partake in an English Literature course to further my knowledge.

My teaching method is based on the marking criteria for English exams. For GCSE this would be based on content, language analysis and context. For A-level the extra layer of critical analysis may also be included. The structure would follow familiarisation of content, language analysis, whether this is for poetry or prose, and then deeper contextual analysis. A final step would be to break down example questions.
For teaching at beginner levels such as 11+ preparation would be more based on outlining key methods for identifying plot, symbols and meaning, followed by thorough practice examples.
