About Eleanor
I have the experience from learning under many different successful performers. I undertook Jason Winters Pre-professional Contemporary Dance Program ‘The Movement’ in 2017 and performed with the company dancers at Dance Life Unite Nationals Finals Showcase. In 2018 I also performed at the Sydney Opera House for the Sydney Eisteddfod Finals with Central Coast Grammar School (CCGS) as part of the Senior Lyrical Company. I have trained under Jason Winters, Amy Campbell, Cassandra Bartho, Marko Panzic, Mitch Wynter, Matt Lee, Will Sabin and Alesha Coon. I was also a part of Jessica Bowen’s Act Know Speak Later Central Coast Team where I had the chance to perform in Melbourne at a fundraiser for Lung Foundation Australia. I was Dance Captain of the CCGS co-curricular performance teams in 2019, managing the groups in eisteddfods and rehearsals. I have passed all Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Ballet grade work from Pre-primary to Advanced One and am currently learning Advanced Two. I have worked as an assistant student teacher for Lauren Hustler, assisting in training RAD grades One, Two and Three for a performance work. I have also taught my own ballet classes in 2019, creating a concert routine for GCSDance. I feel like I have much to offer the new generation of students and would love to help out in the community by contributing what I have learnt over the years.

My approach to teaching is very guided by my own experience, catering to each individual student's emotional and mental needs, delivering corrections and praises tailored to each student's individual method of learning. I am dedicated and focused, willing to put in the work needed to help students improve in a safe, nurturing environment. I believe the skills I have learnt from working as Dance Captain at CCGS in 2019 have developed my understanding of group management and problem solving. My teaching roles at GCSDance over the past three years have strengthened my communication and listening skills, providing moral and emotional support as well as discipline to younger students. I believe these skills are necessary for all performance art forms to encourage talent and development. Dancing as a performer as both a competitive soloist and group member has taught me the importance of working independently as well as in a team environment, encouraging and supporting team members to perform our best. My soloist achievements have also allowed me to gain credibility among the performance industry on the Central Coast, performing in venues such as NIDA, UNSW, The Shore School and the Sydney Opera House.
