About Herbert
I am a 22-year-old drummer and university student. I have played the drums since the age of 11. I did not attend drum lessons and had to figure it out on my own, like many do. However, having a teacher or guide allows faster progression and accountability to get you playing your favorite songs like your favorite drummers. It also allows faster comprehension of technical techniques and skills such as reading music, rudimentary work, timing, coordination, and limb independence etc. These things are often overlooked despite being of the utmost importance to becoming a great drummer. I am here to teach you from A-Z and everything in-between about the drums. So let's embark on this journey together and I hope you give me the honor of teaching you!

I’m a passionate drummer and dedicated teacher who believes learning should be both fun and rewarding. As a younger musician, I bring a fresh and energetic approach to my lessons — blending classic technique with modern styles and real-world music experience.
Please note: I am an online teacher and therefore to get the full experience it would be beneficial to the prospective student to have their own drum set/kit or sticks and a practice pad to effectively practice and engage with the contents of the lessons. However, if you do not have the equipment you can still enjoy and learn the drums from a theoretical and technical standpoint.
