About Prelize
Hello, future student! My name is Prelize. I matriculated with distinctions in both English and Afrikaans, and I’m currently studying a combination of Law and Business at the University of Pretoria. I’m passionate about helping others succeed, and I’d love the opportunity to support you in your academic journey. During my matric year, I was the go-to person among my peers whenever they needed help understanding classwork, preparing for tests, or revising difficult topics. Even with a demanding workload of my own, I found joy and purpose in helping others achieve their goals. I understand how overwhelming school can get—especially when you fall behind or struggle to keep up. That’s why I’m here: to guide you through those challenges, help you understand your work better, and build your confidence. As a university student, I understand that everyone learns differently which is why each of my lessons will adapt to suit the individual's learning style and needs. My approach is flexible, student-focused, and aimed at building both understanding and confidence to succeed.
I am proficient in tutoring English Home Language and Afrikaans First Additional Language, and I offer lessons for learners from Grade 4 to Grade 12.
Students can expect engaging, proactive lessons that focus on truly understanding the material. My goal is to equip learners with the skills and confidence to apply their knowledge independently—whether in class, during assessments, or in real-life language use.
My lessons are ideal for students who need support with test preparation, essay writing, language and grammar skills, reading comprehension, oral presentations, and poetry analysis.
