About Jade
I am a Bachelor of Music (Honours) graduate from the University of Melbourne with a passion for combining improvisation with music theory learning. I have over two years teaching experience with students of all ages and all levels, all the way through to high-level AMEB and VCE Music Performance examinations.

I tailor my teaching to what each student hopes to gain from classes, whether that be a professional performance career or simply to learn a new skill. In general, I emphasise the concept of fun and play in music, teaching materials and songs that students themselves like to listen to while learning along the way.
I believe in improvisation as a key way to understanding music (although I am a theory buff!), which I deliver in classes in a way that is easy and enjoyable for students to help explain musical concepts simply.
