About Robert
I am an active university lecturer, researcher, and Principal PhD Supervisor at Atlantic Technological University with over a decade of experience guiding higher-education students to success. My unique academic foundation pairs a First-Class Honours BSc in Sport & Exercise Science with a PhD in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Galway.
I don't just teach theory; I actively run cutting-edge, state-funded commercial R&D validation frameworks and direct postgraduate research in wearable AI tools and musculoskeletal clinical diagnostics. Furthermore, my background includes over a decade spent as a High Performance Manager and Performance Analyst within elite sports systems.
