About Giulia
I am a university student currently majoring in a French and Italian degree. I have not done paid tuition work before, however I have tutored, helped and mentored students when it comes to GCSE/A Level preparation and specific subjects (humanities subjects mainly). Due to passing on useful tips, helping with exam structure, revision techniques and explaining things thoroughly, it has helped my mentees a lot for their exams.

My teaching method is I understand what the student needs the most help with and base my lessons around that. However, I will also do quizzes and mini tests where it is applicable, for instance for languages I would do grammar and vocabulary tests and history/politics I would ask for definitions of words, key dates, who key figures are etc. However I would also provide useful revision tips to help remember important details and to summarise large amounts of information into key main points to aid with revision. In terms of English literature I would go over the texts studied and break things down to the main aspects that would be examined (key themes/importance of characters/plot analysis...) and provide as much information for each category as possible, and asking the student for their input and opinions regarding the subjects.
