About Zahra
My name is Zahra Gomari and I am currently 31 years old. I am from Iran originally but have been living in Montreal for the past 20 months. I have a bachelor's degree in Art and Fashion Design along with 5 plus years of experience in teaching. I am able to teach Farsi from the beginner to advanced levels, and to students of all ages.

In my lessons, I emphasize conversation both informal and formal, reading and writing, listening to Persian music, and watching videos to improve language ability.
I am a passionate and energetic tutor who cares about her students. I believe my emphasis on orgal communication and high energy levels ensures my students can develop a foundation in Farsi and eventual proficiency in the language.
My lesson plans depends on the preferences and needs of each student. However, broadly speaking I devote 1/2 of my lesson to reading and writing and 1/2 of the lesson to speaking in order to cover all components of the language.
