About Xinpeng
My name is Xinpeng, I am British-Chinese, currently living in Rennes because of my Masters degree, but London is where I call home. Being a third-culture kid (I grew up in North-Africa) I like to meet people from all over the world and most importantly, exchange exciting ideas!!
EU Law or law in general might sound quite dull, but I promise you it's not! Although the UK has already left the European Union, its impact as an economic and political union should not be undermined. Here's a fun fact/quiz on EU Market/Trading Law that we might come across : did you know that Belgium once got sanctioned by the European Court of Justice because it required all margarine (imported or domestically produced) to be packed in cube shape - its justification being that Belgian consumers won't be able to differentiate butter from margarine otherwise! (Mind-blowing isn't it?)

Current EU Law student at Master 1 Level in France, I also have experience in the English LLB core modules+ family law, as a recent LLB graduate. Planning to qualify as a Barrister in England and Wales specialising in Family Law, specifically child protection and financial settlement. As I have studied EU law in both English and French, I am more than happy to tutor in English or French, or even Mandarin upon request.
Lessons will typically last for no more than 45 min to ensure focus and efficient learning. Student should be either looking to gain more insight into English law and/or EU, that is, in the position to apply for an undergraduate degree; or is seeking help with understanding their coursework at undergraduate level.
Every lesson shall address a specific topic and will be interactive, though traditional teaching methods such as power points will also be used if necessary.
