About Ellie
I’m Ellie, an Exeter University LLB Law graduate (2:1) with first class grades across all International Law modules. I hope to build a career that allows me to work across borders while experiencing life in different countries. I see law as more than just a set of rules—it’s a language and a structure that enables global understanding and cooperation. It ensures justice, allows nations to support one another, and creates the foundation for societies to grow. This perspective is what drives my interest in law and the way I approach legal studies. I also understand that studying Law isn’t easy. As someone with dyslexia, I know how overwhelming dense legal texts, case law, and essay writing can feel. I’ve had to develop efficient study techniques that helped me break down complex topics, structure arguments clearly, and work smarter rather than harder. These strategies helped me achieve top grades, and I want to share them with students who might be facing the same challenges. Beyond law, I’m always looking for ways to grow. I’m currently learning Mandarin and Cantonese, exploring business and creative projects, and planning for a future where I can combine entrepreneurship, international work, and financial freedom. I understand what it’s like to feel stuck, uncertain, or searching for direction—and that’s why I approach tutoring with the mindset of not just passing exams, but building confidence, independence, and skills that last beyond the classroom. If you want to learn from someone who understands both the challenges and the bigger picture, let’s get started!

I can’t recommend Ellie enough as a law tutor. She recently graduated from her law degree, so she knows exactly what it takes to do well in university law courses—from understanding tricky legal concepts to structuring essays and tackling exams effectively.
What makes her such a great tutor is how clear and approachable she is. Law can be overwhelming, but she has a way of breaking things down so they actually make sense. She’s patient, explains things in a way that sticks, and always makes sure you fully get the topic before moving on.
If you need someone who is not just knowledgeable but also genuinely supportive and easy to learn from, she’s the perfect choice.Ellie is an excellent tutor who has helped me significantly improve my understanding of law whilst studying for my undergrad. Her ability to articulate complex legal principles clearly made a huge difference in my understanding of the Law. She provided constructive feedback which helped me significantly with my legal analysis and writing skills. Her sessions were well-structured, she was patient, and approachable when answering questions. I highly recommend Ellie!
