About Rakshit
I'm currently preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, which means I spend an arguably unhealthy amount of time reading about politics, economics, history and philosophy. Fortunately, I also happen to enjoy these things.
I've taught undergraduate students, worked in academic research, and spent the better part of the last few years trying to understand why societies, governments and economies behave the way they do (often irrationally).
Outside classroom? I am a coffee enthusiast, learning new methods of brewing, I enjoy Jazz music, and yes I study Political Theory for fun (trust me) :P
I take my subjects seriously, but thankfully, not myself.

I'm a University of Edinburgh postgraduate in International Relations, an Economics graduate from Panjab University, and a former Assistant Professor of Political Science.
I enjoy teaching, particularly when students ask questions that make me reconsider my own arguments. My classes tend to wander between political philosophy, economics, history and whatever is happening in the world that week. We do eventually return to the syllabus, I promise.
I like students who are curious, skeptical and unafraid to disagree with me. I'm more interested in helping you develop an argument than making you memorize mine.
And yes, I don't promise to make every subject easy. I promise to make it interesting enough that you'll want to understand it :P
Again, don't worry, we will complete your syllabus too :P
