About Mirza Amsaar Ahmed

I study BSc (Hons) Computer Science and have achieved first-class results across my modules so far, alongside receiving a University Dean’s Award.

My university experience extends beyond attending lectures. I have worked on university technology projects, including RAG / AI systems, and have worked as a Digital Mentor, supporting others with digital skills.

I also have industry experience including developing a machine learning system in the NHS for prostate cancer diagnosis, alongside seven industry certifications (including AWS Security Specialty, GCP Professional Architect, CompTIA Network+, and more) spanning networking, cybersecurity and cloud computing. This means I can often connect an academic topic to how the same concepts are actually used in real systems — particularly useful for students who want both stronger grades and employable technical skills.

About the lesson

These lessons are for university students who want to excel in their computer science modules and assignments by developing a clear understanding of the underlying concepts.

Depending on your course and goals, we can cover areas such as Python, SQL, databases, data structures and algorithms, computing fundamentals, software development, AI, cloud computing and related technical subjects. I can also help you understand difficult lecture material, debug code, prepare for exams, structure projects and develop the practical skills behind what you are studying.

Lessons are particularly suitable for students who feel their course assumes too much prior knowledge, students entering Computer Science from another discipline, or students who want to go beyond the curriculum and develop stronger practical skills.

For dissertations and research projects, I can help with the technical side of designing, implementing and understanding systems while keeping the work academically yours.
