About Shara

I am a current student at the University of Bristol studying Law. I have had experience in tutoring having taught KS3 and GCSE students History and English and having undergone my A levels last year I would now be able to teach A level students in the same subjects. I attained A’s with a mark of 38/40 for History coursework and 96/100 for English coursework. Having achieved these grades this meant I had worked through the entire question bank for all exam papers. This has set me up with detailed notes and in-depth essay plans needed to achieve high grades that will help you. Having taught students in Years 7 and 8 I have ensured they have had a head start with GCSE work giving them more confidence when it comes to their exams. I have also conducted tutoring for students of all ages including primary school during the summer holidays to ensure their learning ability does not falter and they continue to progress even during holidays.

About the lesson

In the first trial lesson of every student I will gauge an understanding of the student's goals and create a learning structure tailored to them. Each lesson will then be carefully planned ahead with several hours of preparation beforehand to find exam questions, notes and essay plans to prepare the student. I can then discuss the outcome of the lesson with parents. As I have recently sat the A level and GCSE exam I have an up-to-date question bank, notes and knowledge that will be needed for the exams. Having attained AAA at A level and two 9’s in History and English GCSE I have the experience to know what examiners are looking for. I have also previously tutored Year 7 and 8 students in KS3 knowledge and advanced them into GCSE work so they have a stronger foundation when working towards their exams.
