About Rick
I am originally from New Zealand, but moved to Germany when I was 9 years old, where I attended a bilingual school and learned German to a fluent level from scratch. I lived in Germany from aged 9 until 18 when I attended university. I have a BSc in International Management and German from the University of Bath, where I studied the business world with a specific focus on Germany. I studied a wide variety of subjects focusing on German culture, customs, and attitudes, as well as discussing why the language, people, and country are the way they are. I lived and worked in Germany for a further 3 years after university where I worked, in German, for an investment bank in Frankfurt. I have recently returned to London for work and would like to share my skills I've acquired over the last 15 years to help others learn and appreciate this great language.

This includes reading, writing, speaking, and listening, as well as more specific skills such as pronunciation and accent reduction, using modern colloquial German expressions, as well as an insight into German History and Culture.
