About Alita
I am Alita Wong, an undergraduate of the University of Auckland. I would like to be part of the music industry and help the others to explore the musical world. I had been playing the flute for over 6 years and a choir member for 5 years. I do understand both fun and difficulty in learning music. I am pretty confident that I could be a great music teacher in guiding students to get into the musical world

My lessons are for beginners to grade 5 in flute, age from 7 or above.
For juniors, I would recommend to have a 20-30 minutes lesson per week. To start with the recognition of notes and rhythms, hence learning the basic skill of playing the instrument. afterwards, starting to learn and play the songs that they are interested( of course the ones which are in easy versions).
For advanced levels, trying to attend grading exams for instance. would focus on the fluency and the attachment towards the pieces, instead of only caring about the accuracy of the piece. I would recommend students to have a 30-60 minutes lesson per week. Extra lessons would be recommended if necessary.
