About Adrian
Hi, I'm Adrian! I'm an undergraduate student of Art History and Curation at the University of York.
I wouldn't be in the academic position I am today, if it weren't for the enthusiasm of my teachers throughout my secondary and sixth form education.
They helped to instil my passions for History and English, which I want to return in kind to current students!
Regardless of grades or interest in a subject, I want to support a student as best I can to achieve their top grades; so whether they enjoy academia or not, they have the best chance at what they do next in life.

HOW I OPERATE AS A TUTOR:
I believe that too many students are left behind in the large class sizes of GCSE subjects, meaning they miss out on key content or aren't given that helping hand to get the best grades possible.
In my sessions, I can break down subject content in a lecture style, to help the student cover areas of weakness; or develop answering technique and exam style practice. Ultimately, it is the need of the student that shapes how our lessons are structured
LESSON LENGTH:
I understand sometimes students aren't necessarily able to withstand long tutoring sessions.
My lessons range from a quick thirty minutes, to a more in-depth two-hour session.
MY QUALIFICATIONS:
A* in A level English Literature and Language
A in A level History
C in A level Chemistry
9 GCSEs grade 6 and above, including a 9 in English Literature and 8 in history
Grade 7 in Trinity Acting examinations
TEACHING LEVEL:
I am willing to teach from KS2 all the way up to A level
