About Xenia

I am currently an undergraduate student studying Modern Languages at the University of Bristol, and I work part-time as a language tutor. In the past, I have had the opportunity to work with children in primary schools, an experience that I particularly enjoyed, both in individual and group settings. I especially love working with young beginners, as it brings me joy to teach them something new. I strive to make my classes enjoyable and engaging for my students.

As a confident teacher, I ensure that my students complete their assigned homework and fully understand the material covered in each class. My focus includes various aspects of the language, such as pronunciation, helping students speak confidently, and effectively developing their reading and writing skills.

About the lesson

I am an experienced tutor in languages, having worked primarily with children at the primary school and beginner levels who are eager to learn a new language. I have tutored many beginners and volunteered at primary schools to assist young children in improving their language skills.

In my classes which are typically 1 hour long , I focus on teaching how to speak the language, with particular attention to mastering pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. This approach enhances the learner's understanding of how the language functions. Additionally, I emphasize reading texts in the target language, which helps improve pronunciation as well as writing skills.
