About Nashitah
Hi! I’m currently studying Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering alongside Data Science at the University of Sydney. I’ve always enjoyed subjects that involve analyzing ideas, thinking critically, and communicating clearly, which is what led me to enjoy English and writing as well.
Outside of university, I like staying active and creative. I play tennis regularly and also enjoy painting, which I find a great way to relax and express creativity. I enjoy learning new things and exploring different interests, whether that’s through reading, art, or academic work.
I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, where I developed strong skills in essay writing, text analysis, and research, including writing an independent research paper. Having gone through a rigorous academic program myself, I understand the challenges students face. As a tutor, I aim to create a supportive and comfortable environment where students can ask questions freely, build confidence, and steadily improve their English skills.

My lessons focus on building strong reading, analytical, and essay-writing skills. I guide students through close analysis of texts, identifying themes and literary devices, and structuring clear arguments. I use practice exercises, discussion, and detailed feedback to help students improve their writing.
Lessons usually last 45-60 minutes. This gives enough time to review key concepts, work through examples, practise essay writing or text analysis, and discuss feedback. Lesson length can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs and goals.
I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, which emphasises critical thinking, academic writing, and text analysis. I also wrote an independent research paper as part of my extracurriculars, which strengthened my research, argumentation, and academic writing skills.
My lessons are designed for secondary school students (approximately ages 13–17) who want to improve their English skills. I can support students studying IB, HSC, GCSE, or other secondary English courses.
