About Ray
In my freshman year of high school, I was a member of the Region 26 Band in Austin TX, as well as my sophomore year. In 2022, I was the second chair in Region 26 and advanced to the Area auditions. At the end of my sophomore, I received a silver medal for my solo performance at the UIL State competition. As a sophomore in high school, I became the first chair of the top ensemble and was the first chair in The Central Philharmonic Youth Orchestra in my junior year.

I am looking to teach those 10-18 years old, but am willing to expand that range if asked to. A typical lesson plan would depend on how seriously someone desires to take music or art and their skill level. Each plan will be adapted to fit the student. I am passionate about what I do, which will not go unnoticed in my teaching. As someone who has had negative experiences with band directors and art teachers in the past, I firmly believe that enjoyment should be what motivates someone to continue music or art.
