About Michael
Michael Ducorsky has been playing the clarinet for over ten years and is pursuing a career as a music educator. He is currently studying clarinet performance and music education at the Crane School of Music. He has performed in summer festivals at The Juilliard School, New England Conservatory of Music, and the University of Maryland. Michael won 1st place in the Concerto Competition at the Crane School of Music and frequently performs with its top ensembles. He can be seen playing a wide variety of music from classical to rock with musicians all over New York. His primary teachers are Dr. Julianne Kirk Doyle, Mark Dover, and Mindy Dragovich

My goals for my students are to have solid fundamentals on the clarinet while working on music that engages them. I give my students exercises and studies to advance their playing while prioritizing musicality. I always teach clarinet according to the student's needs at any level. I can also teach improvisation in jazz and other genres of interest. We will uncover what may be holding you back and what skills can help you succeed.
