About Shi
I am a Chinese background student studying in Australia since Year 10, currently being an undergraduate at The Australian National University majoring Chinese Studies and Mathematics. English is my second language and I have met a lot of difficulties for my language study. What I have summed up for language learning is that we have to speak and practise with a native speaker. The expressions in the textbook are so different than real-life expressions. Also, it is also fun to talk about the cool things and cultural event in China during our lessons!

Speaking and listening are the fundamental steps towards being an expert in a language. Without speaking and listening, it is extremely difficult to study a language in reading and writing.
