About Stephanie
I am 28 years old, a current undergraduate student studying neuroscience and creative writing at Swinburne University of Technology, and working as a massage therapist.
Neuroscience is my bread and butter. I have found purpose in it and I am so happy to be able to teach this to any interested student. Though I am still a student, I can assure you, I have ample experience in both learning and teaching.
I wish to provide a safe and comfortable environment for my students to thrive in, and I hope you will walk out of each lesson feeling more confident to tackle your neuroscience-related subjects and units, be it VCE or tertiary.
I pour a lot of myself into teaching by providing as many helpful resources as I can, but I will always encourage critical and independent thinking (I rarely 'give away' answers, as it's important you as students learn to do this yourself).
Be warned: I can be very high-energy! My teaching style is not for everyone and I ask that you consider this before enquiring.

2 years experience: VCE Tutoring and teacher's assistant.
I would like to teach high school, VCE, and first-year university students (ages 15+) neuroscience anatomy, and physiology fundamentals, oral presentations, report/essay writing, research skills, referencing, and more.
The lowest report, essay, and oral presentation scores I have received are 95%, 85%, and 80%, respectively.
The one-on-one lesson length depends on the students (minimum 1 hour) and my methodology changes depending on the student's learning styles. I try to make it as fun, and as comfortable as possible to create a fun and comfortable learning environment.
