About Grace
Hello! My name is Grace, and I'm currently preparing for my final year of studying Broadcast Production at university. I have previously studied Moving Image Arts, Creative Media Production and an A in both GCSE English Literature and Language.
I received a foundation scholarship from my university for having the best academic performance out of my academic year, and I am currently a Royal Television Bursary Scholar. As of writing, I have achieved 1st class grades in every module thus far.
My specialties lie in academic writing (particularly within film studies, media analysis or criticism) but have demonstrated skills in content production -video editing, audio recording, podcast recording and more.
Growing up, I struggled severely in secondary school. I was diagnosed with Dyspraxia and anxiety at the age of 15, and found that there was a lack of support and guidance for students like myself. Having realised my potential after being in this position, I am determined to create a safe and productive environment for students to learn at their own pace. Every person has their own needs and specialities, and I intend to use these as strengths.

I will prepare videos, worksheets, and practical tutorials for hands-on lessons in aspects of media and film production, i.e. using a camera or audio equipment. For lessons in academic writing, I will provide resources on how to structure a good essay, find great references, and correctly cite your sources.
My lessons will last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on the needs of the student.
My lessons are primarily aimed towards students aged 14 - 18, though I am happy to cater to outside this age range. As a neurodivergent person myself, I will also be able to tailor my sessions to students with learning difficulties and neurological conditions, e.g. dyspraxia, Autism, ADHD and others.
