About Ashmita
Since childhood, I used to be very fond of music and creating steps in my mind which I STILL DO, so I started bringing those steps out of my mind and into reality. Participated in every dance competition I could in school. Started choreographing in my family functions. Although for a time being I got detached from dance in school, it did not mean I did not dance during that particular time period. Dance in room, teaching dance to kids, performing in family functions that continue and will continue. Dance has always been my therapy and I will love to allocate my knowledge to my students so that they’ll get to know how dance makes someone happy and maybe could be their happy thing.

I will curate personal experience with students while teaching one on one. I will conduct live feedback sessions where students will send their practice clips and I will review them. Will make students comfortable in class, we’ll teach each other and I will create a “student spotlight” where one learner will perform at the end of the class. Will keep dress themes according to the dance and we’ll discuss the importance of costumes and costume designing. Where I will provide you with costume layouts in a ppt format. We’re gonna feel the dance to learn how to be more expressive. While encouraging students to keep a record of the sessions and give feedback.
