About Robert
I am currently a freshman at Fordham University studying political science, but I am transferring to Cornell in the fall. I have been a peer tutor since highschool, and have a lot of experience helping others develop their writing. Outside of peer tutoring, I also have extensive experience as a debater and a public speaker, through which I have developed effective public speaking skills. When I'm not focused on academic pursuits, love to read, explore nature, and delve into my side interests including philosophy and theology.

As a tutor, my purpose is to help my students develop excellent writing skills. My goal is not just to give quick edits on an essay that can be easily changed. By working through the structure, content, and style of a student's writing, I aim to help them write great individual essays and develop a compelling writing style that will serve them long after our tutoring sessions. A typical session would center around a piece of the student's writing, working through it bit by bit to develop a strong structure, well-presented content, and effective style. What sets me apart as a tutor is my focus on helping my students grow - I am passionate about good writing, and I hope that by working with my students I can help them develop stellar writing skills and become effective communicators. While I can help all ages, my tutoring style is most fit for high school students. If that sounds appealing, I'm the tutor for you!
