About Mandisa
My name is Mandisa Mthembu, and I am a proud qualified teacher from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). I chose to become a teacher for a powerful reason. Growing up in a disadvantaged community, I witnessed firsthand how limited access to education kept many talented individuals from reaching their potential. Too often, the lack of opportunities led them down the wrong path, into the streets and into harmful choices. I vowed that when I grew up, I would become a teacher dedicated to providing quality education to those who cannot afford it. I am committed to making a difference and empowering the next generation.
