About Dylan
I'm Dylan, a 4th-year medical student at UCL, currently on the highly selective MBPhD programme, having secured a place on the Francis Crick Institute's PhD programme, one of only 40 candidates selected from roughly 2,400 applicants internationally, to pursue cutting-edge autoimmunity research. Alongside my medical degree I hold a first-class iBSc in Immunology, Infection and Cellular Pathology, for which I won the Professor David Katz Award for best dissertation presentation. I have a passion for helping the next generation of doctors, and making sure they realise their potential!

A place on UCL's MBPhD programme and the Francis Crick Institute's PhD programme — selected from roughly 2,400 applicants for just 40 spots. I've lived through the process you're trying to get through, and I've spent years helping other students do the same — through UCAT technique, personal statements, interview prep, and A-Level/GCSE Biology and Chemistry.
I scored 3150/3 on the UCAT (99th percentile), and my own medical school application resulted in 4 interviews (UCL, King's College London, Barts & The London, and Sheffield) and 3 offers. I've spent the years since helping other students get there too, through UCAT and application mentoring with Medic Mentor, 1-on-1 coaching with In2MedSchool, and speaking on the application process through UCL's Next Top Doctor Programme.
I know exactly what it takes to get into medical school, and I love helping students find their own way to that same result.

UCAT preparation- using a study method I've developed myself, section by section, going through real questions with you and teaching the technique behind them, not just the content
Personal statement- structuring, drafting, and refining your statement so it reflects you and stands out
Tactically applying to medical school- choosing the right universities for your profile, preferences and strategy
Interview preparation- MMI and panel formats, tackled through realistic practice and structured feedback
Biology & Chemistry- GCSE and A-Level
Full syllabus coverage, exam technique, and confidence
Every lesson follows the same three-stage structure:
Understand — I explain the concept clearly and make sure you have the space to ask questions until it genuinely makes sense.
Learn & Memorise — I work through Anki flashcards with you (I have my own decks built specifically for A-Level Biology and Chemistry) so the knowledge actually sticks. I can share these decks for your own use too!
Apply — We go through past paper questions together, so you're not just learning the content but learning how to use it under exam conditions.
