About Lukanyo
I am passionate about building a youth that thinks independently and critically. I learn so much from my students and my goal as a coach is to help them become not only stronger debaters, but also thoughtful, confident thinkers who can engage meaningfully with the world around them.

My coaching develops not only competitive debating skills, but also the ability to think critically, structure ideas clearly, and engage respectfully with complex issues.
Through structured and interactive sessions, students learn how to build strong arguments using clear claims, reasoning, and impacts. They practise analysing real-world topics, responding to opposing viewpoints, and communicating their ideas persuasively under pressure. My coaching also focuses on developing confidence in public speaking and encouraging intellectual curiosity.
I work with both primary and high school students, adapting lessons to be age-appropriate while still challenging students to deepen their thinking. Sessions combine skill-building exercises, guided debates, and constructive feedback in a supportive environment where students feel comfortable sharing ideas and learning from mistakes.
