About Anaïs

Hi!

My name is Anaïs, I’m 27 years old, and I have just completed my Master’s degree in Law and Economics at HEC Lausanne.

I am passionate about teaching and aspire to become a teacher of Economics and Law at secondary I and II level. Offering tutoring in these subjects therefore feels like a natural way for me to share my knowledge and help students.

What I particularly enjoy is explaining concepts that may seem complicated or too abstract at first, and trying to make them simpler, more concrete and, above all, easier to understand.

I also really enjoy the human side of teaching. Every student is different and does not necessarily learn or understand things in the same way. I therefore place a lot of importance on taking the time to get to know the person I am working with, so that together we can find study methods that really suit them and that they can continue to use afterwards.

I am a enthusiastic, positive and attentive person, and I like creating an atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and talking about their difficulties. My goal is to make lessons engaging and adapted to each student, so that they can better understand and remember the concepts covered and, above all, progress at their own pace.

Finally, I completed my education in Switzerland, so I am familiar with the Swiss education system.

About the lesson

I offer dynamic, student-centred lessons, with a focus on finding the learning methods that work best for each student.

I offer support in the following subjects: Law, economics, political economics and accounting

I can help students keep up with their homework, prepare for exams, or go back over any foundations they may be missing. The content of the lessons can be adapted to each student’s needs and goals.
