About Mariyam

I graduated with a BSc honours degree in Psychology with Criminology.
I have over 10 years teaching experience in the humanities department. I also have over 15 years experience working with children in non academic settings.
I am a specialist in Psychology and Sociology A-level tuition, revision and exam preparation/technique. I have taught A-level and GCSE for over 10 years and have marked exams papers for various examining boards.

About the lesson

I provide tutees with clear, concise class notes and revision materials aimed at ensuring that they understand how to address exam questions and how to structure essays. I can provide tutees with a huge bank of past paper questions and model answers with examiner feedback to accompany these questions.
Homework essay questions will be provided to tutees and marked as it would be by official examiners in live exams, thus addressing strengths and weaknesses.

My son only had a few sessions with Mariyam in preparation for his A level mock exams. My son found the sessions extremely helpful. Mariyam is very helpful in explaining things that my son was struggling with. She helped him learn how structure his answers for exams. Mariyam is organised, approachable and supportive. My son will be having more sessions with her.
