About Abigail
I am a student who is majoring in English. I have been a reading tutor for four years now and am very passionate about reading. I want students to find success in the classroom, and I feel that improvement comes from practice and having someone to work on skills with.

I am a tutor who has worked primarily with elementary school-aged children. My typical approach to a session is to begin with a word of the day to work on vocabulary skills and then read a book with the student. After reading the book, I will ask the student various questions about the book to try and get a sense of their comprehension. I think that practice is an essential part of learning to read.
