About Joel
Hi, I'm a passionate piano tutor with over 14 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Piano Emphasis. I've had the joy of guiding students of all ages and skill levels—from absolute beginners to advanced performers and professional musicians. I specialize in a wide range of piano types, including Grand, Player, Digital, Upright, Electric Keyboard, Classical, and Acoustic pianos. My lessons are rooted in strong fundamentals, with a special focus on chord theory, ear training, improvisation, sight-reading, and expressive technique. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to match your goals, interests, and pace. Whether you're a school student looking to master the basics or an adult learner exploring piano as a creative outlet, I'm here to support you. I work closely with each student to develop both technical skill and musical expression. We explore everything from classical pieces to modern pop, jazz, and blues—always with curiosity and fun.
