About Gerda

I have been a tutor for 20 years. I started by teaching my own 3 children and soon ended up teaching other students too. For the last 3 years, I've been a TEFL online teacher and I've loved teaching these students. It's my passion to explain the work in such a way (and with humor if needed) that the student will gain understanding. My goal is to build confidence! My gift is patience.

About the lesson

I believe that each student has a unique learning style and if we work with that style, the student can retain and understand any information. Learning must be fun, so in a relaxed environment with focus on building the students confidence in their own abilities, we can achieve so much together. I can teach English and Afrikaans and at Primary school level.
