About Cecilia
I hold three degrees in International Relations, Economics, and Development from the University of Exeter, SOAS, and the University of Bath. My academic journey has been deeply interdisciplinary, and I now work in the development space, applying what I’ve learned to real-world challenges. I've supported projects with the United Nations and other international development institutions, giving me practical insight that I bring to every tutoring session. I tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping students grow in confidence—especially when tackling complex ideas or developing their academic writing. I'm patient, highly supportive, and skilled at helping students communicate their thoughts clearly and persuasively. Whether you're preparing for exams or refining a dissertation, I bring structure, encouragement, and clarity to the process. I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where students feel comfortable asking questions, expressing their ideas, and engaging in meaningful discussion. I believe learning thrives in an environment of openness, curiosity, and respect. I hold three degrees (two MScs and a BA) in Economics, Development, and International Relations, and have experience mentoring students at both secondary and university levels. I'm especially skilled at helping students improve their essay writing—from structuring arguments to refining language—so they can convey their ideas clearly and persuasively.
