About Gisele
I am fully bilingual (French, English) and a Green Card holder. After an initial career, teaching Linguistics and French, as a University Professor at University of Waterloo and University of Ottawa, Canada, accompanying my husband to Africa gave me the opportunity to follow other avenues. I then moved to Arizona, where I worked for Great Hearts America.
I have a passion for education spanning over a 30 year career. I have experience as a teacher of French, Latin, and English Literature and Composition. I designed the French Language curriculum for Great Hearts. I also worked as a Master Teacher for Modern Language Teachers. I am considered “Highly Qualified” by the Arizona Department of Education. At Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, I had administrative responsibilities (Academic Dean, then Director of Student Services).
