About Tanita
I am an education student that has tutored maths and sciences for more than 5 years. Teaching is my passion and I will try multiple teaching strategies to find what works best for you or your child. As a high school student I received distinctions for both maths and science and have also achieved distinctions for mathematics at university level.

As a tutor I've tried almost all teaching methods and assure parents that I will try different method, until I find the one that works best for their child. Over the years I've found that most students struggling with mathematics have not been given enough practice to fully master the foundation skills of mathematics i.e. adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and most notably, working with fractions. I usually dedicate at least 10 mins of a session on developing these skills, as they influence all other mathematical skills.

Details
Willing to reduce price to R120 per hour if I work with you or your child for at least 3 hours a week. Parents are responsible for the supplying resources used, such as cardboard and copies of exercises or notes. I am willing to purchase these items myself, and adding its cost to my tutoring fee ( A receipt with the price will be provided )
