About Theodore
I've been studying Japanese for 10+ years and now hold an A* in Japanese GCSE and an A at A-Level. I have a passion for learning and teaching new languages and have years of teaching experience both in French and Japanese. I have written award-winning speeches in Japanese and have also performed in Ehime, Shikoku. I also lived briefly in Japan as an exchange student. I am currently on my gap year and have already received offers from Durham and Sheffield for Japanese BA.

My classes are usually based around the GCSE and A-Level specification, but we can also focus on the JLPT (A-Level is roughly consistent with N3). This means each lesson will consist of four elements: speaking, listening, reading and writing (including kanji)!
However, the most important thing is to have fun! Having studied four languages to A-Level, I know how hard it can be to learn a new language. Learning a language right takes time and patience, but that doesn't mean it has to be boring. Alongside language, you will gain insights into Japanese culture, history and society with access to 100+ slides! You will also receive a list of curated resources to help you learn outside of each session.
