About Clara
I began teaching very young children in 1986 right after high school while attending a local collage. I found my biggest interest in the multi - intelligent classroom. I enjoyed teaching ages 4.5 to 7 years of age in one room. I continued to teach until 2012 when I chose to attend UTPB in Odessa, Texas to complete my bachelors in E.C.E. and then I moved on to Sul Ross State University to earn my Masters of Education in Counseling. I currently work as a Qualified Mental Health Professional teaching coping skills. I tutor locally and would like to start tutoring virtually.

My approach to teaching is simple and straight forward. I review with with student the lesson at hand and we practice together.
A typical lesson plan:
:30 minutes - my teaching the letter Gg and
:30 minutes - having the student create words with the letter Gg
:30 minutes - practicing writing the letter Gg and Gg words.
:15 minutes - review.
:15 minutes - reading a story or singing a song related to letter Gg.
What sets me apart from other tutors or teachers is that I give the student the patience and ability to allow them to move through the lesson at their pace and not some predetermine pace .
