About Logan

Currently a student at James Madison University, I uphold myself to the absolute highest level. I struggled to find a private instructor in my area when I was a beginner, and not being accessible to it really held me back. No matter if you want to casually be one of the top players at your school or become the best trumpet player in the world, it is my objective to make you the best musician you can possibly be. After all, band class is a lot more fun when you're good!

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Logan Hayungs and I am in my final year as a music education major at James Madison University. To me, teaching one on one is the most powerful and important style of teaching. I have taught privately numerous of times in the past, and in just one short hour I can improve your student (or yourself) tenfold using a variety of different techniques.

Typically, my lessons will include an extremely brief warm-up to find our sound for the day (students are more than welcome to come into the lesson warmed up!) as well as fundamentals and solo material. Fundamentals are the key to excelling at trumpet, so they are something I push a LOT.

My lessons are for everyone, whether you just started playing trumpet or you are an extremely advanced player in college. I offer online lessons as well as in person if you are in the area. I am looking forward to working with anyone who is interested! Do not hesitate to reach out!
