About Ignacy
I am a student at McKinnon Secondary College with a strong passion for music, particularly classical trumpet. I actively participate in extracurricular and school bands, including the Australian Youth Band, Senior Stage Band, Orchestra, Trumpet Ensemble, ANZAC Brass, and trumpet soloing. A highlight of my musical journey was performing The Carnival of Venice with my school’s Chamber String Orchestra at the annual Winter Concert. I’ve also taken on roles as a trumpet teacher for younger students, sharing my love for music and helping others develop their skills. I am continuously exploring new ways to improve my musical abilities and knowledge.

I strongly encourage students to tackle higher-level works and technical pieces to develop their skills and challenge themselves far beyond the expected level. I also believe in fostering a well-rounded musical understanding, helping students appreciate the nuances of classical performance and strive for precision, all while cultivating a lifelong love for music and its discipline.
