About Maré

I am Maré Grobler. I am 30 year old, female. I was raised in South Africa by Afrikaans parents. I completed my Senior National Certificate(NQF Level 4) in an Afrikaans skool in the eastern Cape of South Africa in 2011.

I enjoy history and languages as I am bilingual and I am learning conversational IsiXhosa. Yes I am the nerd that loves to learn.

About the lesson

By making learning fun and interactive I can teach both conversational and theory of Afrikaans. With a dash of culture too. With cooking, baking and knitting/crochet and other subjects all in Afrikaans. I am a native Afrikaans woman and I can tell you about history of the language and South African culture and life in South Africa.
