About the lesson

[This is an example for advanced student that is very adjustable according to your needs.]

1. Definitely start with speaking practices! I will ask the student to prepare to talk about whatever topic you like and correct any of your grammar mistakes. Topics can be assigned if needed.
2. For listening practice, I will give you a short speech and adjust the pace and vocabulary according to your Chinese level. For beginners I will ask you to repeat after me, and for advanced speakers I will ask you to translate what I said.
3. We learn to read new words and practice pronunciation, combined with some cultural explanations about the differences when Chinese is translated into English.
4. For writing practices, I break down words to how they were formed originally, combining with pictures and evolution of ancient writings.

Additionally, I can help correct your assignments or extra practicing sheets!

I got a lot of help on my chinese assignments and improved my understanding of how to read words in a logical way.
