About Jalila

Please consider my application for applying to a professor or a trainer position. I have experienced teaching for 12 years with adult students and five years with elementary schools.
I am a Canadian Citizen teacher, fully multilingual (English, French and Arabic) with significant experience in teaching and communication skills development. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity, good judgment and easily adapt to diverse working conditions and environments.
I first got my Master’ s degree (second language teaching, education) in 2001 from Ottawa University and for 12 years, I worked as a professor, a training consultant in learning development and knowledge sharing within different Federal Government departments, Bank of Canada, Statistic Canada, Public security, Industry Canada, both individuals and groups.
In 2015, I completed my Bachelor Education degree. Now, I am a member of the Ontario Teachers College. Also I started a master degree in Public administration (programs evaluation) only two courses are to be completed to get my master in MPA.
I firmly believe that my experience as a professor teaching adults, in different Canadian government departments, and my experience teaching elementary and kindergarten would be of highly educational value that your students would avail of.
Currently, I am working at a private school. My aim is to gain more experience working closely with children to be able to experience the real teaching world and to be able to apply the educational theories in real life situations. However, my ultimate goal is to train the future teachers.
Currently, leading my students in their early years learning journey is a daily joy and a true fulfilment. I use the most creative and the most innovative learning and classroom management methods. My pride is my students learning progress, their self-esteem and their motivation.
I always work with a team consistently promoting respectful environment within the colleague teachers and the administration. I can easily integrate the university environment and I can easily work along with my coworkers to achieve your institution’s mission and vision.

About the lesson

Communicative approach. The most important teaching strategy is to make first the students comfortable , confident and ready to learn. Create a very good learning environment. Diversify the activities in a way that can grab all learners styles attention (visual, kinetics, audio.... )
